Alex Lugones
Principal / Creative Director / Producer

Alex’s interest in visual communication arts is eclectic. His achievements are proof. Not only is he an award-winning filmmaker, he catered to such prestigious clients as Con Edison, IBM, Corning, Duracell/Gillette, SNET, Mercy College, The Wilhelm Reich Museum, Discovery Channel, MTV, and AT&T. He developed one of the first CD-ROMs to link to the Internet for Corning. Van Wagner contracted Alex to design and visualize lighting schemes for major billboard constructs in Times Square (Cup of Noodles, LG Electronics, Budweiser and Loews Theatre). Alex won numerous corporate video awards for Con Edison which include Telly, AiME, New York Festival, Worldfest Houston and Communicator Awards. Recently, Alex created nine motion graphic ads for Con Edison, prominently displayed on two large 10 by 100 feet LED signs behind Yankee Stadium’s home base. He maintains a B.F.A. in filmmaking from S.U.N.Y. at Purchase and showcased his senior thesis film at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum.

Alex believes the demand for digital media applications is expanding beyond the elite handful of production companies to all companies. Digital media software applications are becoming increasingly complex. Web, print, and film/TV technologies are converging, creating a mandate for a more sophisticated workforce. Judging by Alex’s eclectic reach, he is well-suited to meet the demands of the future and to rise above any challenge.
